This year, due to the restrictions imposed by the global pandemic situation, the award ceremony could not be held, but with an internal event, in compliance with safety protocols, Simonelli Group equally presented the awards to three employees: Giacomo Busetti, Emanuele Rossi, and Alessandro Gentili. <\/p>\n<p>In 2020, the quality commission considered eighty improvement proposals suggested by staff, and 12 percent of the total were applied. Giacomo Busetti, Alessandro Gentili, and Emanuele Rossi are the three of the young professionals who, according to the Simonelli Group quality commission, proposed innovative ideas that helped add great value to the process, the product, and those who use and maintain the coffee machine. <\/p>\n<p>Giacomo Busetti, 32 years old with 7 years of experience in the company, is in charge of handling finished products from production to the newly built logistics facility. His idea was awarded the first prize and consists of a new solution to ensure greater safety and security of the coffee machine during the shipping stage. <\/p>\n<p>At 25 years old, Alessandro Gentili is the youngest of the awardees. He has been working at Simonelli Group for about 6 years and, on production line 1, is in charge of assembling the electrical part of the coffee machine. While working on the electrical system of Victoria Arduino&#8217;s <a>Eagle One<\/a> machine, he reasoned about a quicker and safer solution of cable routing, useful for speeding up the work during assembly and for a better durability of the components themselves.  <\/p>\n<p>Emanuele Rossi has more than 10 years of experience at Simonelli Group. He was entrusted with the task of taking care of the assembly of the machines in Victoria Arduino&#8217;s heritage collection, specifically <a>Athena Leva<\/a> and <a>Venus Bar<\/a>. Emanuele proposed a solution to further simplify the technician&#8217;s work during periodic maintenance activities.  <\/p>\n<p>Innovation is made up of many small ideas that make the added value of a product or service tangible.
