Simonelli Group launches a new edition of Youth Academy Italia, the program that offers 6 scholarships for young people between 18 and 30 years old who are passionate and eager to enter the world of coffee as professionals. Youth Academy is the program that provides complete Specialty Coffee Association certified training: specifically all Barista Skills and Foundation modules of Sensory, Green, Roasting, Sustainability and Brewing.
The official presentation of the Youth Academy program is at Sigep in Rimini at the Coffee Arena on Tuesday, January 20. To learn all the details of the program visit www.coffeeknowledgehub.com or come to Sigep hall B1 booth 154 where all the baristas in attendance, who have participated in previous editions of Youth Academy, will be available to answer any questions about the program.
What awaits you in the Youth Academy program?
Training and Mentoring: collaborate with coffee experts, certified trainers and industry leaders who will guide you through the nuances of growing, roasting, brewing, coffee tasting and more by taking courses certified by the Specialty Coffee Association. Webinars, insights, and coffee shop tours are also provided to enrich your experience.
Innovative challenges: test your creative ideas and knowledge!
Networking opportunities: connect with colleagues who love coffee, build a network and forge partnerships that could define the future of the coffee industry. Exchange ideas, inspiration and aspirations with people who share your passion for coffee.
Acknowledgements: SCA certifications useful for accumulating the credits needed to earn the SCA Café Diploma.
How to participate: starting January 12, register on the Coffee Knowledge Hub website and fill out the application form by February 15, 2026. At the end of the selection period, the first selected, based on the submitted resume and motivation, will be contacted for an online interview to choose the 6 scholarship winners.
