We had a special meeting with the young people from the Lega del Filo d’Oro, during which we shared a moment of learning and discovery: a mini-course on the sensory characteristics of coffee, followed by the opportunity for each of them to prepare coffee with their own hands, experiencing it first-hand.
It was an intense, simple and deeply meaningful morning.
It reminded us that there are a thousand ways to connect with others, beyond words, habitual gestures or differences.
And that a genuine, spontaneous smile can instantly brighten even the most ordinary day.
But this is only the first step on a journey that we have decided to undertake together, and which will accompany us over the coming months.
A journey designed not only to offer the young people of the Lega del Filo d’Oro new opportunities for learning and relationships, but also to open up spaces for reflection and awareness within our company.
Because talking about disability, empathy and diversity also means building a culture of respect, listening and inclusion, every day.
Coffee becomes a thread that unites and connects.
