An afternoon out of the ordinary, reminding us of the importance of reconnecting with the humanity we all share.
We had the honor of welcoming Michael Christensen -actor, director, co-founder of New York’s famous Big Apple Circus-, and above all a pioneer of clown therapy: the first to bring clowns into hospitals, turning laughter into a tool for healing and human connection.
In partnership with Clown&Clown, the organization behind the annual Festival in Monte San Giusto (MC), Christensen led a workshop that first engaged our company community and then representatives from local businesses, institutions, and schools.
At the company, we all pressed pause for two hours.
It wasn’t an obvious gesture, but a conscious choice: to give everyone the chance to take part and share a collective moment of growth.
Christensen guided us through an intense, heartfelt journey, blending his personal story with universal reflections on listening, respect, connection, and the energy of the present moment.
The experience was enriched with play and lightness, perfectly aligned with our ongoing commitment to building an inclusive company culture that values people’s well-being. It was a precious opportunity to grow as an organization, strengthening our skills in empathy, connection, and active listening.
At the Campus, the experience extended to the wider community.
Christensen captivated everyone with a moving and joyful narrative, winning us over with his humanity, humility, and sensitivity. He reminded us that these qualities can be cultivated and applied in any context, personal, professional, or organizational.
It was a deeply inspiring moment, offering us a new perspective, one that sets aside daily urgencies and brings us closer to what truly matters. A precious chance to pause, to listen, and to grow.
