After 14 years with Simonelli Group, including the last six in the role of CEO, Fabio Ceccarani is leaving the company at the end of his second term. The board of directors appointed Marco Feliziani as the new CEO effective April 18, 2023.
As shown by the figures for fiscal year 2022, which closed at 121 Mln Euro, Simonelli Group rests on a very solid financial foundation, has a strong market position, and is ready to take on new challenges in the future.
Nando Ottavi, president of Simonelli Group, says, “Fabio Ceccarani is directly connected to the success story of our company. Over the past 14 years he has left a decisive imprint, and I am extremely grateful to him for this and for his commitment. Today opens a new phase for Simonelli Group, which now feels ripe to entrust one of its shareholders, Marco Feliziani, with the role of CEO.”
Marco Feliziani, 46, joined the company in 2015 as director of the group’s U.S. subsidiary. Over the years he has served as Commercial Director and Vice President, positions he held until his current appointment as CEO.
“Fabio Ceccarani has been a decisive support for the company over the years. Under his leadership Simonelli Group has accelerated the process of digital growth and renewal, increased product care and strengthened its commitment to sustainability and environmental protection. But,” Feliziani continues, “I believe Fabio has especially contributed to the evolution in a managerial sense of the company and to the spread of an ethical, responsible culture of care and attention to people. I want to thank him personally for the support he has given me during these years of close daily collaboration, which has made this handover happen in the most natural and, in fact, seamless way.”
