The Impresa Champion 2020 award was given to 1,000 Italian companies that have grown consistently over the past six years and have above-average profitability in all major sectors.
Simonelli Group is “Impresa Champion 2020.” The company, in fact, is one of the 1,000 Italian companies, selected by the ItalyPost Study Center, that performed best in the years 2012-2018. The analysis identified the best 800 Italian companies between 20 and 120 million in turnover, in which Simonelli Group is included, and the 200 between 120 and 500 million.
The Champions research will be presented on May 8 at the Italian Stock Exchange in Milan during an event entitled “Italy Generates the Future.” On Monday, March 16, on the other hand, the daily newspaper l’Economia del Corriere della Sera published a 36-page dossier with all the key data on the 1,000 companies.
The research and selection criteria for the “Champions 2020” award
The 800 Champions (20-120 million turnover category) were selected from the databases of Aida-Bureau Van Dijk and Infocamere’s Business Registry, relating to companies with 2018 turnover between 20 and 120 million and with reference to the last six filed financial statements (2012-2018). The analysis was conducted by a team of expert analysts in Corporate Finance from Special Affairs Srl, an independent financial advisory firm. The rating was given by Modefinance, an independent rating agency. Selection criteria, in addition to turnover, are:

With its Nuova Simonelli and Victoria Arduino brands, Simonelli Group has thus distinguished itself through steady growth over the 2012-2018 fiscal year period and above-average profitability in its target sector. This is also confirmed by the first figures for fiscal year 2019, which see double-digit sales growth.
