Sustainability
We welcomed a special delegation to our Campus: nine coffee professionals from Guatemala, Costa Rica, and the Dominican Republic, taking part in an advanced training program dedicated to the world of coffee.
Visiting Italy for SIGEP, the participants chose Simonelli Group to deepen their understanding of how coffee can be transformed into high-quality beverages, engaging directly with Italian excellence in the sector.
The initiative, promoted by IILA – the International Italo-Latin American Organization, aims to provide high-level training to women from producing countries by developing technical skills related to extraction and quality, in response to the needs of downstream markets along the supply chain.
At the Campus, they were able to make use of technical spaces and equipment to further expand their knowledge. For Simonelli Group, which has always placed strong emphasis on training, this was a valuable opportunity for exchange and growth, contributing to enriching technical and cultural know-how on production stages and the economic sustainability challenges faced by farmers.
An experience of shared vision that strengthens the role of women in shaping the future of coffee.
