EDUCATION

We incentivize coffee culture among our clients and colleagues
as well as in the broader community, to maximize their potential.

The Simonelli Group is constantly innovating to create advanced machines with improved performance and efficiency.

All the protagonists of the coffee chain contribute equally to guarantee the high-quality of the product. That is why it is fundamental that each one of them maximizes their knowledge. In the coffee world, there is always something new to learn.

Simonelli Group’s goal is to continuously guide and coach everyone that is part of this industry. For that reason, the company activated the Coffee Knowledge Hub, an educational platform with the goal of developing and supporting coffee professionals.

The Coffee Knowledge Hub is dedicated to the ongoing development of coffee professionals around the world. Through continuous learning we are working to make the coffee world, a better place.
The courses on offer are delivered at Simonelli Branch offices, at our network of Experience Labs, and online.

We offer courses from CQI, the SCACoffee ChemistryCoffee Mind, and our own Coffee Science Hub.

The Youth Academy by Simonelli Group is a free training program designed to support and develop emerging talents in the coffee world. Since 2018, we have been promoting advanced training, equal opportunities, and sustainability for professionals aged 18 to 30, preparing the next generation of industry leaders.

The Youth Academy was created to bridge the gap between education and professional experience. We offer six scholarships for young people aged 18-30 for training with certified Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) trainers, enriched by networking opportunities, internships, and potential job placements across the entire coffee supply chain:

  • Coffee shops
  • Roasteries
  • Equipment manufacturers
  • Green coffee buyers, and much more.

The program is entirely free and includes the first level of four modules from the Specialty Coffee Association’s Coffee Skills Program: Brewing, Green Coffee, Roasting, and Sensory Skills, while the Barista module covers all levels from Foundation to Professional.

The six scholarships are available to young professionals aged 18 -30, who are residents of the country where the training takes place and wish to grow in the coffee industry. The Youth Academy is committed to:

  • Enhancing technical and managerial skills.
  • Promoting gender equality and inclusion.
  • Supporting long-term sustainable professional development.

Since its first Italian edition in 2018, the Youth Academy has expanded globally with active projects in UK, Spain, Portugal, Malaysia, and Mexico.

This global network nurtures a community of alumni and professionals, actively contributing to the program’s continuous growth and expansion.

  1. High-level training: Follow a program based on SCA’s international standards.
  2. Access to career opportunities and a global community: Build your professional network in the coffee world and become part of the worldwide alumni network.
  3. Personal and professional growth: Become an agent of change for the sustainable future of coffee.
