Sustainability
Corporate 14 June 2022

Green Week of one of the most relevant events with green economy issues at its center has just ended. The event was divided into two parts: the first three days the “Factories of Sustainability” were at the center of a tour that featured them; during the remaining part of the week the Festival of the Green Economy was held in Parma, an event attended by the most important exponents of the economy, finance, and institutions attentive to sustainability issues.
During the Festival of the Green Economy, the Green Enterprise Manifesto was officially launched, which Simonelli Group also joined. More than 40 companies pledged their commitments to emissions reduction and social sustainability through the Green Enterprise Manifesto. Businesses are called upon to make a public commitment in order to demonstrate greater awareness in nurturing sustainable policies.
The Manifesto will be the operational tool to make the goals transparent, indicating measurements and how the actions taken will be implemented.
On the occasion of the launch of the Manifesto, Fabio Ceccarani, CEO of Simonelli Group, participated in a roundtable discussion on the theme, “Overcoming crises by looking to the future: the lessons of green businesses.” The roundtable highlighted the commitment of businesses to the green transition. Entrepreneurs and CEOs in attendance recounted the concrete paths to sustainability that companies are implementing from the perspectives of energy saving, emissions reduction, andsocial engagement.
