The Green Week, one of the most important events that focus on issues related to the green economy, has just ended.
The event was divided into two parts: the first three days, the “Factories of Sustainability” were the protagonists of a tour; during the second part of the week, the Green Economy Festival was held in Parma, an event in which the most important exponents of economy, finance, and institutions attentive to sustainability participated. During the Green Economy Festival, the Manifesto of Green Enterprises was launched, to which Simonelli Group also joined.
More than 40 companies have signed commitments to reduce emissions and social sustainability through the Manifesto of Green Companies. Businesses are called upon to engage in more sustainable business policies. The Manifesto represents the operational tool for indicating the measurements and methods of implementation of the actions undertaken.
On the occasion of the launch of the Manifesto, Fabio Ceccarani, CEO of Simonelli Group, participated in the round table on the theme: “Overcoming crises looking to the future: the lesson of green companies”. The round table highlighted the commitment of companies to the ecological transition. The entrepreneurs and CEOs present talked about the concrete paths of sustainability that companies are implementing regards energy saving, the reduction of emissions, and social commitment.
