Belforte del Chienti, April 27, 2022– “Vasca#04” is the title of an oil on canvas by Elena Giustozzi that a few days ago became part of Simonelli Group‘s special “gallery” at the company’s Headquarters Center in Belforte del Chienti, where other works by the winners of the “Pannaggi Prize/New Generation,” reserved for young artists under 40, are on display.
A keen observer of nature and all that surrounds us, Elena Giustozzi, a native of Civitanova Marche who trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Macerata, had come out on top last winter in the fourth edition of the Prize with an in-depth research work inspired by a decorative garden tub around which the artist used to play when she was a child. In her series of circular paintings, exhibited in the past few months at Palazzo Buonaccorsi, in the solo exhibition dedicated to her, the painter wanted to fix on canvas the emotions she felt as a child when observing the foliage and tiny fauna she saw reflected in the pool’s water.
Now, with the exhibition in Macerata closed, one of these works, emblematic of the artist’s most recent production, has been donated to the main sponsor company of the “Pannaggi Prize.”
It was the painter herself who presented the work to Simonelli Group President Nando Ottavi and Vice President Marco Feliziani during a simple ceremony attended by Professor Paola Ballesi, president of the Friends of Palazzo Buonaccorsi Association, promoter of the Pannaggi Prize.
Simonelli Group has decided to support the initiative since the first edition because of the values it expresses and the important contribution it offers to the cultural growth of the area. By linking artcontemporaryart with the world of production, the Association contributes to stimulating those who – like Simonelli Group – are particularly attentive to developing and enhancing Made in Italy in the world with their productions.
