These days Simonelli Group is mobilizing to support the health care system severely tested by the Coronavirus emergency. In fact, the company has arranged a donation that will allow the purchase of a special intubation system needed by the Resuscitation Operating Unit of the Camerino Health Facility.
The one in the Duke city, in fact, is the first Covid Hospital in the province of Macerata, where Simonelli Group’s headquarters are located. “At this time of national health emergency, everyone must do their part,” said Simonelli Group President Nando Ottavi. “The company felt the need to be even closer to the community by supporting, as much as possible, the remarkable efforts that public health and those who work there with great dedication and sacrifice are making to save lives.”
Simonelli Group has a strong connection with the city of Camerino and especially with its University, with which it has initiated important research projects that have since resulted in innovative coffee extraction technologies. “In collaboration with the University of Camerino, we have created value to enable chains and baristas around the world to offer high-quality drinks in the cup. At this time,” said Fabio Ceccarani, Simonelli Group CEO, “we are called upon to offer value to our territorial community in order to strengthen and support the hospital in Camerino and thus guarantee the necessary equipment to cope with emergencies and save lives.”
The close bond between Simonelli Group and the territory is also manifested in the continuous investment in human resources, which represent the company’s most valuable asset and with whom there is a relationship marked by cooperation and fairness. At this time of extreme health emergency, Simonelli Group has adopted particularly stringent precautionary procedures in the workplace and has taken out a special insurance policy called “Covid19 Policy” in favor of all personnel, as a concrete support to the individual employee in the unfortunate case of involvement in contagion.
