The historic headquarters in Via Madonna d’Antegiano comes back to life. A major event celebrates its rebirth under the title “Taste of the Future.”
It was a day of celebration, memory and vision in Belforte del Chienti. The event marked the opening of Simonelli Group’s historic headquarters in Via Madonna d’Antegiano. The building was fully rebuilt after the 2016 earthquake.
The new space keeps the soul of the past but looks ahead to the future. It will host new production lines for filter coffee machines and super-automatic models. This is a clear sign of the company’s focus on innovation and on the local area.

To mark this milestone, Simonelli Group organized a major event open to everyone. Guests included institutional figures, special invitees and key names from the Marche business world.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony took place in the presence of Francesco Acquaroli, President of the Marche Region, Alessio Vita, Mayor of Belforte del Chienti, and Father Domenico. It was a moment full of emotion and meaning for the whole territory.

After the ceremony, journalist Safiria Leccese led a roundtable. The panel brought together some of the most important names in Marche business:
The discussion explored the challenges and the chances of doing business in a complex area, rich in talent and resources. One shared vision came out clearly. Staying rooted in the territory is an act of courage. But it is also a strategic choice. It makes industrial projects stronger and builds closer ties with local communities.
“Ex malum, bonum”, said Senator Castelli, quoting Saint Augustine. “From a land that has suffered, as ours did after the earthquake, new ideas, businesses and skills can and must keep growing.”

With this opening, Simonelli Group renews its bond with the Marche region and its community. Once again, the company chooses to invest locally to compete globally.
It is also a tribute to the company’s history. As CEO Marco Feliziani said, that history “is made of the courage and vision of our founders. They believed in this place when it still seemed far from the main industrial hubs. It is also made of the work of our people, past and present, many of whom are still with us today. This is an honor for me, for the company and for the whole territory.”

The roundtable was followed by a keynote from Stéphane Garelli. Garelli is a world-famous economist. He led the World Economic Forum for 13 years and is now Professor Emeritus at IMD (International Institute for Management Development).
His speech offered a clear analysis of the main trends shaping the world today. He looked at the performance of global economies. He explored the shifts in geopolitics across the United States, China, Europe and emerging markets. The picture he drew is complex, but key to understanding today’s challenges.
Garelli spoke with his usual direct style. He chose to share what he called “uncomfortable truths rather than reassuring lies”. He stressed that global competition now asks for a new mindset. Being efficient is no longer enough. Companies must be resilient, flexible and ready to innovate every day.
“We cannot face the future with the tools of the past,” he said. “The companies that read the signals of change, whether technological, environmental or social, will lead the next phase of growth.”
His speech was a strong source of inspiration for business leaders, public officials and citizens. It invited everyone to think about the active role that regions like Marche can play on the global stage. That role is built on strong skills, entrepreneurial spirit and deep cultural roots.
